In 1994, Rohde & Schwarz launched a new Regional Office in Abu Dhabi to signal the R&S group's commitment to the dynamic and vibrant development of the Communication Sector in the UAE. It was a strategic response to the importance and needs of the local markets and increasing globalization of the industries.
Rohde & Schwarz Emirates started as RF Calibration facility to meet the rising demands of UAE Armed Forces for equipment calibration. Test & Measurement products from Rohde & Schwarz and associated companies were added in 1999.
Due to consistent growth, Rohde & Schwarz Emirates moved in 2004 from the city to a more spacious facility in Mussafah. The new office, including a laboratory, is fully equipped, ISO9001 and Civil Aviation approved and manufacturer-independent. By offering a strong local presence, we can easily adapt to all different requirements of our customers and provide service on the highest level.
